Vürtsid keedetakse, kalaleemele lisatakse äädikat ja valatakse silmudele. Edasi kuumutatakse samuti nagu tarrendi valmistamise puhul.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Omapärane marineerimise viis on järgmine. Pehmeks röstitud silmud lõigatakse parajaks ja pannakse purkidesse. Selle retsepti puhul tuleb purkidesse panna kindlasti ka silmude pead. Nüüd valatakse peale sibula, vürtside ja pisut kangema äädikaga valmistatud marinaad ja purgid suletakse. Kehvade hoiutingimuste puhul tuleks purke kuumutada. Sellise marineerimise puhul jääb marinaad läbipaistvaks ja värvituks.
